Apologia Bible: Come study the book What on Earth Can I Do? from Apologia Bible to help understand how we can be good stewards of all the blessings that God has given to us. Textbooks must be ordered prior to the start of class by the parent: ISBN# 978-1-93545-10-9 and can be ordered from Apologia ($42), christianbook.com ($28) or possibly be found used online. Approximately 30-60 min of homework will be assigned each week reading and answering questions from the textbook. Please be sure that you are ordering the textbook and not the journaling notebook. Students should be strong, independent readers.

Sewing: This is a basic, introductory sewing class. All that is needed is a simple sewing machine and few old clothing garments. Students will learn how to thread the machines, assemble simple patterns (PDF and store bought), draft patterns from ready-made garments, create gifts, learn hand sewing techniques, and much more. Some projects included are tote bags, hats, teacher/sibling/parent gifts, and much more. There will be a take home completed item for most classes. All fabric will be provided for new projects unless the student prefers their own. Each student will create their own pair of pajamas pants and/or shorts (with elastic waistband) for the final project! The teacher will provide a printed book with details of each project.Each student will need need to bring their own sewing machine each week to class.
STEAM: Explore building concepts and basics through creative building exercises with everyday supplies often found in your pantry! Short lecture on architecture related subjects along with building portion.

Art: We will study various styles and types of media. We will learn details of various art styles, the products and techniques used, and we will complete projects based on some of these styles.
Youth Rec: Students will participate in physical fitness with a fun twist. All students will gain physical and mental fitness. This class will involve exercise and games. Students will be expected to adhere to the CHAT dress code while wearing fitness attire.

Ethics: Ethics is the doctrines of morality or a system of moral principles. Morality shapes the character of a person, a home, and a nation. As George Washington stated, "A good moral character is the first essential." This course will challenge students to live an ethical life at home, at school, at work, etc. Some of the topics include truth, industry, justice, and fidelity.
