Membership Fees
*Annual Membership Fee- $85 per family- Paid with registration once annually. (This includes the $5 background check fee for one adult. Additional fees are required for each additional adult in the classroom). *Utility fee- $60 per family- Paid with registration each semester.* Class fees based on class choices. (See class offerings)
Membership Includes
*Participation in co-op classes by your children (additional fees required per class depending on classes selected).*Teaching and/or assisting in two(2) co-op classes by the parent.*Email updates of co-op and non-co-op related events.*Social settings for your children.*Fellowship with other homeschool parents.*HSLDA group discount.*Information on other local homeschool happenings (i.e. book fairs, sales, special homeschool days at area attractions).*Private Facebook group page
Registration Info
Two options to register:
Option 1 - Register online or mail in your registration early.
Option 2 - Register in person at registration/orientation
*Every registration must be received either online, or through the mail system. If you choose to mail in your registration, it must be postmarked by July 15th.
*Please remember class sizes are limited. The earlier you register, the better your chances of getting your children's first choice of classes and your choice of places to serve.
*ALL members must attend Registration/Orientation for Fall Registration. Only new members are required to attend Spring Registration. Registration begins at 6:00. If you have mailed in your class registrations ahead of time, please arrive no later then 6:15 to sign the necessary paperwork and to confirm classes.

Please follow these instructions to join CHAT and register:
TO REGISTER ONLINE:
1. Read the General Policy, and the Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct available below. You will be asked to sign a list on registration night stating that you received a copy of the General Policy and that you agree to abide by our procedures.
2. If registering online - Please complete three forms; Membership form, Agreement to the Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct, and Class Registration Form. You will complete a form for a background check at Registration/Orientation Night. Please bring a copy of your driver's license with you on this night.
3. Send payment for your registration. This will include $145 fee ($80 membership fee, $5 background check fee, and $60 utility fee) + all class fees for your children's first choice of classes. Any class fee adjustments will be made at Registration Night. You may pay via Venmo to @CHAT-Homeschool. Please include a note on the class registration form that you paid via Venmo with Venmo username. Or you may mail a check to: CHAT: Registration PO Box 200212 Cartersville, GA 30120 Please make checks payable to CHAT.

**Checks received during the Early Registration period will not be deposited before July 29, 2024**
